Hand turned bellow organs are available in almost any flavor, but all fall in the “copy of the old style and scale” category. So we decided to add one more flavor tailored to the contemporary user. Where all other organs leave pipe’s/note’s out of the scale to keep prices at bay and to minimize the outside dimensions of the organs, we think that this compromise is too steep. Leaving out note’s of the scale makes that the scale is not chromatic anymore. This has a big impact on the practical use as transposing music is now impossible, and many songs will be crippled due to missing note’s forcing the arranger to make undesirable compromises.
So our motto is: keep it chromatic and keep it simple.
True to our philosophy to think outside the box, we went to our drawing board with an open mind. One consideration was to keep the design in line with our modern systems for maximum musical performance and connectability. Another consideration was to use modern construction methods if this would give us certain advantages, so we decided to use an aluminum frame as the basic structure. Two main advantages:
The outside top/front/side & back panels are optional. There will be different panels with different designs in different flavors available like high-gloss wood veneer, but also blank pre-cut panels which allows the creative owners to make their own designs. These pre-cut panels are low-cost and can be mounted on the aluminum frames in a matter of minutes allowing the owner to have a different appearance for every occasion.
