While not as powerful an advanced as the ORCHESTRIONIX percussion, this more budget friendly design still offers a very dynamic range of hit-intensity from absolute zero to a loudness which will suffice in most setups. As a result, the “PERCUSSION UNIT” will play every piece of music with plenty of soul and feel.
As the timekeeper, this instrument is a very basic and important member of the DECAP instrument family. With the “PERCUSSION UNIT,” users can effortlessly create a rhythm groove on the fly using the standard midi note numbers. Create a unified orchestra by integrating this percussion set with other DECAP instruments. It’s not just a percussion set; it’s an indispensable part if you want to get into the groove.
What sets the “PERCUSSION UNIT” apart is its blend of state-of-the-art electronics and meticulous mechanics. The set responds 100% to midi volume and expression. The processor is programmed to strike exactly 70ms after the midi note is received, so from the softest hit (midi velocity 1) to the most forceful drumstick strike (midi velocity 127), your dynamic range is covered. The multiple sticks on the snare and crash cymbal, and a variety of strike types all with a large dynamic range make this set rival with the real thing.
